Our expedition begins in the town of Rama , the front door to the Nicaraguan Caribbean; we cross 80 km in the Escondido River until we reach Bluefields, a historical city port of Nicaragua that has its very own characteristics in that English is the primary language dues to the fact that it was colonized by the England . To know the Caribbean Nicaragua is really fascinating, you will enjoy the radiant nature, low earth tropical jungles, humid forests, caudals rivers where one will be able to enjoy thousands the sounds of nature; we also cannot forget to mention the coral reefs. This is one of the most productive ecosystems is in the Nicaraguan Caribbean. To visit the Caribbean is to taste a variety of foods such as Rondón, seafood and other special typical food that this region makes which is different from the Pacific and Central region of Nicaragua . From Bluefields we will continue with our trip by plane to the Caribbean Islands , Corn Island and Little Corn Island, both surrounded by coral reefs. They are a tropical Paradise , far off the beaten path, unspoiled and completely unaffected by tourists. This place is ideal for different sport activities and recreation that the tourist can do like snorking, diving, aquatic-bicycicling, sport fishing, and horseback. Little Corn Island is inhabited by around 750 English speaking people who earn their living from lobster fishing. . . No cars, No phones, No worries, No jet skis, No movie stars.

Nicaragua is known as the Land of Lakes and Volcanoes; in this tour you will learn why. Our trip begins with a tour of the Maribios Volcanoes Chain; here you will view the attractive volcanoes of the Occident region, which are famous for being active volcanoes. We will appreciate the Hoyo, Negro and Telica Volcanoes that are near the City of Leon and the grandness of the Momotombo volcano near of the ruins of old Leon. We will visit a small island near Leon called Juan Venado Island; it too is a natural reserve, that contains a variety of animals in danger of extinction. Afterwards you will have the opportunity to visit other cities, each with its own culture, nature and history. Managua, the multifaceted city, is the capital city that you will discover. Granada, the Colonial city, has many treasures such as the beautiful islets and the Mombacho Volcano - which offers canopy adventures. Masaya, the Folkloric city, is full of the traditions of Nicaragua. On the island of Ometepe, majestic volcanoes, tropical beaches, and natural reserves with trails will make you feel as though you’ve found paradise.

Rolling the Pathway of the Cacique Nicarao

*Ten Days / Nine Nights Tour

A complete tour discovering the Nature and the Culture !!!

On our first day of travel, we will travel to the City of Masaya. There we will have the opportunity to visit the majestic Masaya volcano. We will drive to the top of the volcano and view its five craters. We continue the tour by visiting the Handcraft Market of Masaya, where you can find a variety of handcrafted treasures. Later that day we will visit the colonial city, Granada. We will walk by the Central Plaza, the Cathedral of Asuncion, the San Francisco Convent and various other sites. On the 3 rd day we will tour the Islets of Granada and visit the Mirador Catarina, where you will enjoy the beautiful view of the Apoyo Lagoon, the City of Granada and its guard, the Mombacho Volcano. In the afternoon, we will depart for Ometepe Island, and its two impressive volcanoes, Madera and Concepcion. On the 4 th and 5 th day, we will visit some of Nicaragua’s romantic beaches and the natural reserve of the Madera Volcano. On the 6 th day, we’ll travel to San Juan del Sur, a beautiful bay where you can enjoy the sun and fresh seafood. We will then return to Managua and tour the city. On the 7 th day, we depart for Solentiname, also known as bird paradise. Here you will visit the beautiful natural reserve. On the 8 th day, we depart for the Los Guatuzos Wildlife Refuge Rainforest, which contains a variety of birds and mammal species that are in danger of extinction. Our trip continues down the San Juan River. We will visit the Fortress El Castillo of the Immaculate Conception that was built in 1675 by the Spanish. Down the river we will find the eco-lodge The Bartola Refuge. This Indio-Maiz Reserve is a refuge that contains species such as jaguars, reptiles, amphibians, fish and a diverse species of birds. On the 9 th and 10 th day, we will do activities such as bird watching, sport fishing and hiking along the Bartola trails. On the 11th day, we return to Managua.

Learn about species in danger of extinction!!!

A fascinating and enchanting country that you will discover with us. This is Nicaragua , a destiny where you’ll find lots of interesting activities to keep you busy and learn about the people and culture. Beginning with Managua City , a place of culture, history and commercial contrasts. 29 km from Managua is Masaya City , full of legacy that our ancestors left us and still lives in the languages and lifestyle of many people. When you visit the Handcraft Market you will see the traditions of the people represented in each one of their crafts. To listen to the happy rhythms of the marimba with a wonderful landscape that the Catarina View offers is perfect. We will visit one of the many places where the aborigine did ritual ceremonies in honor of their gods like throwing people into the crater; this is now one of the most visited places. You will then travel to Granada, the Colonial City, with its 365 islets in the Lake of Cocibolca and Mombacho Volcano, a natural reserve that has in it different species of animals and flowers. Other places to visit is Ometepe Island into the Lake of Nicaragua, this island is famous for its two Volcanoes, the Concepcion Volcano and the Madera Volcano, and for its beautiful tropical beaches that provide the perfect place to relax. The last destination is the San Juan del Sur Bay, with over 14 pristine and magic beaches, it truly is a paradise. The best part of this trip is that we will have the opportunity to visit the Turtle Sanctuary in El Coco Beach. Here hundreds of Turtles Paslama lay their eggs between the months of July to January.
